So I know there probably aren't a lot of first year students going for it, but I think Science Faculty Representative would look really good on my transcript. Plus I want to be really involved in what's going on here in the school so I think I'm definitely going to run for Science Faculty Representative!.

If elected, I promise to listen to any concerns you have and make sure we receive the proper representation on the student council. And I promise not to abuse my power in any way.

Obviously I have no intention of running, I just know it'll piss off Simon Liebowitz. Plus it will give him something to focus on besides how biased GossipNet is about to become - he's BHH and if he's busy launching a smear campaign against me, he won't have time to try it against a real candidate. Not that anyone takes his pathetic excuse for a paper seriously...

Well I guess being grounded after you break curfew is one way to find out you even have a curfew in the first place. Fucking fascists. Still it was totally worth it: I had a blast at the wedding.

So I'm looking at the course list and I had a question. Anyone who took Pyrotechnics last trimester: The class was practical and not just theory, right? I think I remember people building things and blowing stuff up for the final...

I don't have the time to code these up so that they're only accessible if I die, so how about if everyone just doesn't read the rest of these entries unless the worst happens? We're pinned down behind enemy lines and if we do manage to survive, it looks like we're going on some sort of suicide mission to try and kill Hitler, so I don't think you'll have to wait long to appease your curiosity.

So I just saw Watchmen. ( Possible Spoilers )

Our esteemed busybody Phantom Reporter had a really good idea: study groups! I think it would be a nice way for everyone to come together regardless of faculty/year/soci-political alignments. I'm picturing something a bit more informal than the reading group being set up by my nemesis counterpart: more of a Study Hall than actual tutoring.

Of course, Mr. Liebowitz has decided that his Study Group will be For Boys Only. And while I think he's being ridiculous respect his logic, I respectfully disagree: I think that in order to have a positive learning environment, we should be as inclusive as possible.

So! With that in mind, I'm proposing an informal study hall. It would just be a group of people meeting a couple of afternoons a week - mostly it would probably just be a chance for us to work on homework and class assignments and ask for help if we need it. I know I don't mind offering some tutoring¹ to people who struggle with science, and I'm sure if we look around we'll find people with all sorts of aptitudes that could help their fellow students. Basically, I'm hoping to get to know more about you and see what use you might serve bring people together and help with our studies.

So! If you're interested, please respond to this so I can get a rough headcount. We'll tentatively be meeting in the Rec Room here in the Science building unless there's enough interest or I can talk to a Dean about maybe having some time in an empty classroom or library where it would be quieter and easier to concentrate. Also, weather permitting, we can even study outside some.

¹ Note: This isn't like the 'tutoring' that I sometimes gave at Promethean. I am not going to do your fucking homework for you just because you're a lazy fucking ingrate popular and/or stronger than me. This is a place of learning, not freeloading.
